West Surrey Dyslexic Aid Association (WSDAA).
History.

The earliest record of the West Surrey Dyslexic Aid Association is the setting up of the Charity, when the constitution was adopted on 15th July 1975. Its objective was ‘To advance the education of persons handicapped by dyslexia’. It was registered with the Charity Commission on 16th December 1975.

The aims were for Education/Training. The beneficiaries were children/young people and people with dyslexia. The method of operation was to be by making grants to individuals. The WSDAA was to provide services (e.g. care/counselling) and advocacy/advice/information providing they had been a member for at least a year.

The WSDAA is a founder member of the British Dyslexia Association (BDA).
