The Farnborough
Dyslexia & Learning Centre (FDLC) was a private tutoring centre set up by Christine
Johnson in Farnborough, Hants, England. Christine was a fully qualified SEN
(Special Educational Needs) consultant having spent many years in the state
education system. The aim was to help adults and children with reading and
spelling as well as various special educational needs with most of our students
coming from local areas. The multi-sensory techniques used, together with the
use of computers and one-to-one tuition, allowed dramatic improvements in
reading, writing, spelling, language and thinking skills which specifically
helped the intelligent dyslexic as well as the slower learner.
We have now retired and stopped all FDLC work.
